Double Helix DNA Model at School 12 and Monsters at School 9

At Schools 9 and 12 in Paterson two new arts integration projects have been created with the guidance of WPU PIR Simone Sandler.

A Double Helix Project at School 12 
Science/Art Integration
Double Helix DNA models were created by the 8th graders at School 12 . 
Students worked in pairs to create cells from pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks. 


                                                     Monsters at School 9
                                                    Literacy/Art Integration
Kindergarten students at School 9 created construction paper monsters using scissors and glue. 
Students incorporated literacy by filling out a paper that asked for descriptive words that were indicative for their creatures.
